The Renault Clio Renaultsport 197 redefines a hot hatch, with staggering performance from its powerful 197hp engine, an advanced chassis and a F1-developed air diffuser keeping it firmly glued to the road. The engine has been extensively revised from the previous Clio Renaultsport 182, with new inlet tracts, valve seat aerodynamics, camshaft, crank shaft and pistons. Continuouly variable valve timing results in 197hp at 7250rpm, with 215Nm of torque at 5550rpm and with the new close ratio 6-speed gearbox changing the gears has never been so sweet and rewarding.
